Since I first came across the Invisible Children movement, I’ve never stopped praying for them. I literally wanted to get involved physically to the cause because their plight was something very, very close to my heart. But how could I? A lot of things were also happening in my life back then. Yet, it did not stop me from praying and also telling friends and family about it.
Anyway, I was very encouraged by these three young men who accidentally discovered this long-forgotten issue and unearthed it through their documentary. It was something so big and controversial, yet it did not deter them from pursuing it. Very ambitious really. And althroughout the years, I have followed how they brought the issue to the awareness of the youth of America, causing a “great” displacement event, bringing huge transformation to the lives of the Ugandan children, lobbying in the American government to intervene, meeting finally with President Obama, until the issue of the Invisible Children reached the United Nations…
And wow… look at what is trending on twitter worldwide now! Look at what is buzzing in the worldwide news: Kony 2012.
Literally, my heart is pounding so hard while typing this. Yes, that’s how strongly I feel about finally chasing Joseph Kony after so many years of terrorizing Uganda. And one of the powerful forces of getting Kony arrested and disarming the LRA was this documentary on the Invisible Children.
Because I support the Invisible Children, I will take part by telling people about it. I signed the Kony 2012 pledge and I’m encouraging you to do the same.

You too can do something to stop this madness in Uganda. Spread the word and let’s help pursue international justice.
I believe that the Lord honors the efforts of those who are determined and who persevere in fighting against the deterioration of humanity.
Quote me on this for I believe in it 100% — “God blesses those who persevere, for they make the difference.”
