Hello! I know it has been a month since an update. Forgive this mommy for I have been busy prepping for my little man’s first birthday party. Since it was mostly DIY, except for the cake, candy buffet and caterer, you can just imagine the time spent getting all the party details done before Ziki’s birthday-slash-dedication day.

I remember vividly, around this time last year, I was already in active labor. But Ziki did not come out until 3 hours later. Today, I have an active  little boy who keeps me fit and healthy. Haha. What with all the chasing and carrying of this 24-pound cute ball of energy, you now understand why I am this skinny (and I’ve never been this thin since I was single!).

Going back to the party planning, I am going to post here how this newbie mom pulled it all off, so watch out for that. Meanwhile over here, I shall tell y’all how the DIY party details were done and then some. Though it was quite exhausting making all of it, it was truly fun and quite a memorable experience. I believe D-I-Y is really spelled L-O-V-E. With all the effort that goes into each detail, I’m sure it was made with genuine love and care which makes it even more special.

So I shall return with another post. Expect this week to be a series of “Ziki’s Party Planning Edition” blogposts. :)

Because really, I’m blogging to put a timestamp to the actual day God has been merciful and gracious to me for blessing us with Ziki…and it’s been a year of amazing-ness. So to my little man who lights us up every single day, HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!
